Good to know.

March 19, 2012 by EM Leave a Comment

I had the best/worst Skype date yesterday with one of the lovely ladies I met in Roatan, she is by far one of my favorite people ever… she’s a scuba instructor at Enomis Divers (check them out if you’re planning to dive in West End!) – and the video chat was so bittersweet! It was awesome to ‘see’ her but I was sitting alone in my apartment watching it rain/snow outside and she was across the street from the beach in a bikini and a constant stream of people were coming by to say hi to her. I need to get back there!! 4.5 more months (hopefully less)!

It was a good thing we chatted cause I got a ton of great advice from her about where to do my divemaster training and instructor development course. I have some more researching to do…

Sold my snowboard boots yesterday for $50! And one of the lawyers at the firm I work at might be buying my Sasquatch Festival camping ticket so that would be another $200. Slowly but surely wins the race, right? I guess I am a tortoise. That’s okay. I like tortoises. But turtles are faster and can swim, so I think I’ll be a turtle instead.

Edit: One second after I posted this, the lawyer came by my desk and said she’ll buy my Sasquatch camping pass AND my festival ticket so that’s $515! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
