Roatan FAQ

Paradise Interns

Welcome to my Roatan FAQ page! Here’s where you’ll find all my helpful things about Roatan. I lived on Roatan from 2012-2016 and it was a wild ride!

Roatan Map

I have not lived there since 2016, and Roatan is a place where businesses and staff turn over frequently. Therefore, I do not feel comfortable offering specific advice about the island anymore since I am not currently there to know which dive shops, hotels and restaurants are best. On Roatan, people have jobs as concierge directors, travel agents, property managers, realtors, etc. and get paid for their services. Please don’t email bloggers asking for those types of things because it’s not fair to people who work those jobs for a living there!

That being said, I’m happy to help answer general questions. However, I do have some required reading first – please check out this post and this post for how to email bloggers/writers/etc. and get an answer!

Roatan FAQ

Below you’ll find a list I’ve compiled of my posts, interviews, or articles I contributed to that you may find helpful in your search. These should answer the most frequently asked questions (there’s even an actual Roatan FAQ included!) –  please read these before emailing me.

 Helpful Roatan interviews:
