Expat Blog Awards 2013!

December 16, 2013 by Rika 3 Comments

I’ve entered this year’s Expat Blog Awards over at over at Expats Blog, and I would love for you all to read my entry and vote for me!!

Expat Blog Awards 2013 Contest Entry

You can click the badge above, or follow this link to my entry: Top 10 Things I Wish I Knew Before Becoming an Expat in Honduras.

To vote for me, simply leave a great comment on the entry at the link above – not this post on my blog, although you can do that too if you want! They require all comments to be over 10 words to ensure legitimacy. You can also like/share on Facebook & Twitter etc. as well to increase my chances of winning! All the social media sharing buttons are on the entry just above the comment section.

Comments will require a one time email verification, so please make sure you  check for the email as soon as you post a comment. As the comments make up part of the voting, they only allow one comment per person per entry. The contest closes December 20th, so time is of the essence people!

There are up to $2500 in prizes and 350+ top blog awards. I would love to win a prize, but also since there are only two of us in the Honduras category (my good friend Amanda and I) we are vying for the gold and silver blog awards for Honduras. Help me kick her butt and win gold 🙂 Or if you hate my entry, vote for Amanda’s instead!

Let me know if you have an entry as well, and I’ll vote for you!

Guys, make sure to follow me on Facebook and Twitter … there’s lots of extras posted there that don’t make it onto the blog. (I also have Google+ if anyone even uses that?) Plus it makes me win contests. So there’s that.

Thanks to a brilliant effort in publishing your article. One can be more informative as this. There are many things I can know only after reading your wonderful article.

Thanks for voting Steph!! I won the silver medal for 2nd place….which was actually last since there was only two of us 🙂 But still great experience and now I have a post in my back pocket for whenever I feel like posting something snarky hehe.

Not too sure what the future holds…I've got my eyes on the Gilis in Indonesia, but that is probably not until their rainy season is over in April/May.
