Konnichiwa Bitches: Hello from Japan

August 2, 2016 by Rika 7 Comments

Just a post to say… I MADE IT. Hello from Shinjuku, Tokyo!  I’m eating everything. I’ll have more to tell you all soon.

It’s muggy and humid and roasting hot. It makes me miss Roatan. I don’t want to put my suit on, but work is work. What a funny feeling it is to wake up in a new world to your new life. Bring it, Japan.

Guys, make sure to follow me on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter … there’s lots of extras posted there that don’t make it onto the blog. I also have Google+ if anyone even uses that? And I’m on Bloglovin’, so you can follow me there too! Plus it makes me try to post more than once a month. So there’s that.

Ahhhhh Kaori!!! It’s been ages. I haven’t been checking people’s blogs in so long…life was pretty busy the first half of this year. I will have to go catch up on yours. I was actually only in Tokyo for orientation – I’m placed in Tokushima-ken on Shikoku!! So that’s where I’m living now. But I’m going to come to Tokyo sometimes to get out of the inaka 🙂 I will let you know next time I’m coming, I would love to meet up with you!!

No worries, my computer broke down and I haven’t had the chance to update my blog in months! That is awesome that you’re in Shikoku, it’s the hot spot for domestic travel these days. I’m there a couple times a year at least because my parents live in Ehime (the other side of Shikoku, across from Hiroshima). We should meet up in between, like Takamatsu (famous for udon noodles!) sometime 🙂 And yes, let me know if you’re every in Tokyo and have time!
