This post is mostly for me to keep track of some great links I found, but if you stumbled upon my blog looking for tips on how to get out of the 9-5 grind then these will help you too!

Vagablonding’s travel tips to get good travel deals – looking forward to seeing more from Ariel as she gears up for another trip (bonus – she was in Roatan and you can read all about it on her site!). She has tons of interesting posts (including a video of her eating a fried spider in Cambodia…putting that on my bucket list immediately) and a lot of tips for travelling cheap.

While searching for Vagablonding (above) I found The Vagablond, a fellow Canuck whose posts I love reading as a another solo female traveller.

Brian at No Debt World Travel has tons of advice for heading around the world!

I have a soft spot for Mike and Lauren at Abandon the Cube as we all feel that humans are not meant to be stuck in cubicles all day! Their resources page is incredibly helpful and the whole site is chock-full of info for those looking to drop everything and travel.

Twenty-something Travel’s ways to save money for a trip are useful and the links at the end of the post go to more money-saving tips. This girl saved enough for a trip around the world so listen to what she has to say!

And last but definitely not least, the most helpful site I have found so far is Shannon at A Little Adrift’s round the world trip resources page. If there’s only one page you look at, it should be this one! I only hope one day I have enough travel experience to put together resources like this.
