A half day off.

April 29, 2012 by Rika 2 Comments

I slept in, had brunch with friends (my first meal out with friends in over a month), walked by the ocean with a tea, went around the neighborhood and took in the sights of the fluffy pink cherry trees, took a nap and then got ready for work. A 5:30pm shift is infinitely better than a 2:30pm shift.

Less than three weeks until Roatan! I figured out how to post from my iPhone so there might even be a post or two from paradise. I posted this from my phone so we’ll see what it looks like when I get to a computer!

Magical things will happen in three weeks time, I am sure of it! If I keep my nose to the grindstone, I'll pretty much be finished with grad school (finally!) and you'll be winging your way off to a quicky with your new love. I'm really looking forward to hearing more about Roatan!

Oooooooooh! So exciting! I was in university forever…well not PhD forever, but still forever…. and that feeling of being done is such an overwhelming relief. You must be really looking forward to it. I am at 19 days and counting, I will count down for you too 🙂 There will be lots more about Roatan coming, I have a tendency to gush about my adopted second home!
